Throwback: Jade "Don't Walk Away"

"Don't Walk Away" is a song by Jade, released as a single in 1993. It became one of the biggest Pop, Dance and R&B singles of the year. The song peaked at #2 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and climbed all the way to #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 pop chart. The mastermind behind Jade's debut release was Vassal Benford, who has written and/or produced for a myriad of performers like Toni Braxton and Chanté Moore, both who released their debut albums a year before. The success of the single landed the trio spots on The Tonight Show, Arsenio and the UK's Top of the Pops.
